Descripcion

EDC-1 is a digital amplifier that controls proportional valves in open loop, plug-in mounting. It delivers a current proportional to the reference signal and independent to temperature variations and load impedance, with a resolution of 1% on full scale 2600 mA. The power supply to the solenoid by a PWM stage allows to reduce the valve hysteresis and improve the control accuracy. The EDC card is customizable with different settings of maximum current and PWM switching frequency, according to the type of the valve to be controlled. The parameters are adjusted via buttons and display or with a portable PC with EDCPC software and connection to the RS232 socket located inside the box.
